About the event
We have our final star party of the year at the Wai-iti Reserve this weekend, the first fine night of either Friday or Saturday. Observing from 9- 11 pm-ish (the sun sets late these days, boo to Daylight Savings Time). The weather is not looking great but that might change by the weekend - here's hoping!
We will have half a Moon, Jupiter and Saturn in the sky. Come and enjoy the night.
Maybe make a picnic dinner of the day and enjoy the Reserve as evening falls! Kids can run around and watch the astronomers setting up their telescopes and ask them questions....
